The Private Sector Partnership Program "Shareek” today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), aiming for cooperation between the two parties to enable the private sector to contribute to the national development process through the advancement of data and artificial intelligence fields and technologies. The signing was attended by  His Excellency the CEO of the Private Sector Partnership Program “Shareek”, Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Arifi and His Excellency the President of SDAIA, Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Al-Ghamdi.

The MoU was signed on behalf of the Shareek program by the head of Partnerships and Investment Development for Industry and Infrastructure Sectors, Hesham Alshiddi and on behalf of SDAIA by the General mangaer of Business Partnerships, Faisal Al-Qublan.

The memorandum aims to establish a general framework for cooperation between the two parties in several areas, including exploring the possibility of conducting comprehensive market studies, aligning with relevant entities, identifying and prioritizing investment opportunities, providing specialized technical consultations, in addition to cooperating in developing investment opportunities and developing data and AI-driven business models. This collaboration contributes to supporting the Kingdom's efforts in strengthening the national economy, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

This partnership comes within the framework of efforts to empower the private sector and enhance its vital role in the national economy, thereby contributing to fostering innovation, maximizing the utilization of data and artificial intelligence in various fields, and elevating the Kingdom to leadership among data and AI-driven economies
