Shareek, the Partnership Program, in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Investment , held an investment and business development workshop for private sector energy and petrochemicals companies
The workshop which took place on Monday, 9 Sha’aban 1445H (February 19, 2024), addressed the opportunities and challenges in the energy and petrochemicals companies’ sector and explored possible ways to facilitate the growth of quality investments, to achieve the goals of localization of the sector, in accordance with Vision 2030
During the workshop, some success stories of the “Shareek” program were reviewed, and group discussions were also held to review the opportunities that could contribute in increasing future projects and growing investment opportunities, which would contribute directly to increasing the private sector’s participation in the Kingdom’s gross domestic product
The workshop was received well by all stakeholders, opening-up discussions around a range of opportunities which could help increase the nation’s gross domestic product and grow employment
